Batting Cages Wednesday

Hey Visitors,

There are plans in place to meet at the batting cages behind Meijer on SR26 in Lafayette on Wednesday April 25th at 7:30. Jessica and I were planning to come but it turns out the Sabres' 2nd playoff round is starting that day so we're going to bail out and watch our team kick the crap out of the Rangers instead. Others are still welcome to go to the batting cages of course but we won't see you until Sunday.

Practice and Batting Cages

A few of us are planning to go to the batting cages on Thursday, April 19th at 7:30 pm. These are the batting cages near the Meijer Store on SR 26 at I-65.

Next team practice will be at 2:30 pm at the Blessed Sacrament field in WL on Sunday, April 22.

Also, let me know about any planned vacation time that you have this summer so that we accommodate you by calling substitute players or negotiating our league schedule next Tuesday.

2007 Softball Season

You found it. General team notes and announcements will be posted here again this season. Sandy, Dennis and Steve are co-coaching. We have paid our team's entrance fee.

The West Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department has this information posted on their website:

"The WLPR Recreational Coed Softball League is being organized. Games will be played weekly beginning May 7. Each team will play one game per week and end with a tournament. No games will be played on Memorial Day or July 4th. Coed League fee is $350. Payment is due by April 13. Games will be scheduled for the first 28 teams that have paid. Schedule conflicts will take place on Tuesday, April 24th."
